So, it’s been a while since I’ve written on here, but as this is one of my many priorities it must be a good sign for 33 London…
We have had a very busy tendering period over the last two months, with around £1.5m worth going out the door. We have won some and lost some, great news is that we have won our biggest job yet and we’re into the 2nd week on site. Don’t think I’ll mention any names yet but they are yet another media company, adding to our ever expanding portfolio of media clients, they are part of WPP and are moving into a (soon to be) swanky new office near Harrods. (May put up some 3D visualizations if I get permission)
we’re on week 15 of our NW3 residential project, with 3-4 weeks to go… It’s really coming together since I last posted photos on here (will update these in a moment) all the structural work has been completed and M&E, joinery, sanitaryware and plastering are being done as we speak… Keep up the good work Saj, final push!
We have also taken on another site manager (welcome to the team Andre) who is running a big media job as well as helping out at a small resi project near Primrose Hill. Also looking at taking on an Estimator soon, great to see how much 33 London has expanded since I joined just 1 year ago.
Our Senior Site Manager – Shane – has been working his little Safa socks off between two projects as well as assisting in others, and doing a great job of it too! He recently finished a great project above Smithfield Market in Farringdon for a design and ad agency called Aqueduct, a few photos of which are at the bottom of this post.
Neil and Tim are working hard as always, flitting between the office, clients and colleagues and doing a great job of keeping the 33 London ship afloat.
First ‘Monthly meeting’ that we have been able to squeeze in in the last 7 weeks is next Friday and I have a nice budget for celebratory food and drinks… Yippee!
In other news, next week I will start to plan our (belated) 5th Birthday Celebrations, website should be live in less than two weeks and I’m starting my marketing diploma in October!
Have a great weekend folks,
Lou and the rest of the 33 London team
